When is the best age for my child to start orthodontic treatment?+

The ideal time is around age 7–8, when permanent teeth begin erupting and jaw growth is active. Early evaluation lets us guide development and often simplify future treatment.

How long does orthodontic treatment take?+

Most braces or aligner cases take 12–24 months depending on complexity. Simple aligner cases can finish in as little as 6–9 months.

Are braces painful?+

Modern braces are far more comfortable than before. You may feel mild pressure for a day or two after adjustments, but it is manageable and quickly fades.

What is the difference between braces and aligners?+

Braces are fixed metal or ceramic brackets that work for all cases. Aligners are removable, nearly invisible trays best for mild to moderate issues. We will recommend the right option after your scan.

Do you offer EMI or installment options?+

Yes — we offer no-cost EMI on most major treatments, plus UPI, cards and insurance reimbursement support.

How much is the consultation fee?+

General dentist consultations are ₹300. Orthodontist and pedodontist consultations are ₹500. No hidden charges.

Why are baby teeth important if they just fall out anyway?+

Primary (baby) teeth are vital for proper chewing, clear speech development, and holding space for permanent teeth to erupt correctly. Early loss can lead to alignment issues that require more complex treatment later.

Are dental X-rays safe for my child?+

Yes, digital dental X-rays are completely safe and emit extremely low levels of radiation. We utilize digital sensors and lead aprons to ensure maximum protection while checking for hidden decay between teeth.

What should I do if my child has a sudden toothache?+

Rinse their mouth with warm salt water and gently check for food caught between the teeth. Apply a cold compress to the cheek for swelling, administer an age-appropriate pain reliever, and call our office immediately for an emergency appointment.
